Twilight star, Taylor Lautner, may have very well bench-pressed his way into being the highest paid actor in Hollywood by holding onto the role of Jacob Black for New Moon. According to Deadline.com, the 17-year-old will be receiving $7.5 million to star in Northern Lights with big screen heavyweight, Tom Cruise.
Big box office returns on both Twilight films have ensured Tay-Tay’s status as the fastest-rising young star on the big screen, with expectations for the remaining film sequels in the franchise riding high. In Taylor’s role with Cruise, the athletic teen will play “a gifted, young, aerobatics pilot who faces off with his controlling, billionaire father and falls in love with a gifted, female pilot.”
I’m kind of feeling sorry for Michael Copon right about now. Poor guy was thisclose.
