After the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that devastated Haiti Tuesday, the rest of the world has given effort or shown concern for the thousands without food or water, but Taylor Momsen is just too busy being a rock star right now to care.
Doing her best impression of raccoon who found its way into a nightie, Momsen promoted her new fragrance Love Rocks at the Victoria’s Secret store in NYC’s SoHo district, where OK! Magazine asked her if she would be making any donations or pleas to support the effort, such as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have done.
“Um, right now I’m trying to just finish my record and getting through the last season of Gossip Girl for right now. So not so much thinking about that,” Momsen said.
She added, “But it’s awesome that everyone is ya know working towards a good cause.”
Perhaps it’s somewhat typical for a 16-year-old girl to not see the bigger picture, but maybe here’s a case for not having one out at night dressed in a slip and branding herself at Victoria’s Secret trying to be a rocker, instead of being in school.
Sadly this boob is typical of the apathy of our “youth”. Money, money, more money for me, screw everyone else unless my friends jump on the band wagon so I will too because, like, you know, I care totally about Haiti.
Ask her to spell it and find it on a map. Skank.

offensive and heartles nonetheless? yes.
taylor, maybe that’s all you’re worried about, because at 16 it’s all about you.
but the earlier you learn this lesson, the better.
there are MUCH bigger things happening in the world than the unoriginal crap you’re producing, therefore, making it actually not about you at all.
instead of being happy for the people who are actually helping, why don’t you have a large piece of humble pie and join them.
That is ridiculous. I’m sixteen (yep, I’m young), and most people I know, including myself, care a lot about Haiti. We’ve been starting canned food and money drives at my school.
Yeah, I’m 17 and she makes me pretty embarrassed if this is how the world perceives our generation. What a vapid airhead.
Who is this skank? Her face looks like she got beat severely with a iron skillet. This is what I do not like about these kinds of news articles; they make her sound bad about only one thing. Her age has nothing to do with her not worrying about Haiti at that very moment, and shopping at Victoria’s Secret doesn’t mean that she is a ‘whore’. Many women shop their, hell, even I do. Just because there is one article that says something is ‘bad’ about her, doesn’t mean she is. The article itself is poorly written and doesn’t give the whole story.
