Looking very old-school Hollywood glamorous, Taylor Swift opted for a long, floor-length, flowing cream-colored dress coupled with a pair of bright red lipstick at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards at Radio City Music Hall.
Taylor took to the stage to accept her prize Best Female Video for “You Belong To Me” wearing the classic gown. Her picture-perfect moment would have gone off without a hitch, had it not been for Kanye West running to the stage during Taylor’s acceptance speech to interrupt the young country singer.
Swift was speechless as the rapper grabbed her award and took to the mic to say, “Taylor, I’m really happy for you. I’ll let you finish. But Beyonce had one of the best videos of
all time…one of the best videos of all time!”
We should have been nervous when he showed up with a bottle of Hennessy in his hand.
