Being the incredibly lucky individual that I am, Socialite Life sent me on a very important mission yesterday: interview celebrities on the red carpet at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards. Obviously this was a very exciting task and I was more than happy to oblige. However, it seemed like the celebs were the ones who didn’t want to be interviewed.

As I stood there in the boiling sun getting a weird square tan, I talked to some awesome people and watched a bunch of people fly by. Among those who flew by: Taylor Lautner, Chace Crawford, Mike Tyson, Kathy Griffin, Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone, Miley Cyrus, Frankie Jonas, and probably loads of other people that I’m forgetting. There were some super awesome celebs who did stop and chat, and we got some create stuff from them.

My favorite person of the day was Zachary Abel from ABC Family’s Make It Or Break It. He was totally modest when I asked him how it feels to be one of the hottest guys on one of the hottest shows on TV. “Uhh, are you talking to me, or is there someone else? Me? Uh, I don’t know how I feel about it. I don’t know about that. Umm, it makes me uncomfortable I guess. But thank you very much, it’s very flattering.” And guess what his favorite movies are? “Citizen Kane is up there, I’m a big fan of Citizen Kane. Rear Window, I’m obsessed with. Fight Club, lately. I like older films.” Those are mine too! Zachary and I are meant to be!

One of the most exciting people was Justin Chon who plays Eric Yorkie in the Twilight Saga. I managed to grab him before he ran inside thanks to my awesome skills. Excited for New Moon Justin? “I’m super excited.” Are you in all four films coming out? “I don’t know about the fourth one yet, but I’m in the third one.” When do you start shooting Eclipse? “In two weeks.” Oh, and how would you feel about dinosaur cloning? “Woah, I think it could get pretty scary. What if they start getting out of control and you can’t control them, you know.” I’m taking that as he’s totally down for it!

The whole Kardashian family was on hand to chat a little bit too, which was very exciting. Kim, Kourtney, Kendall, and Kylie all
looked fabulous on the red carpet. Since Kim is now a blonde, were the
other sisters going blonde? Kourtney was a no. “I was blonde in high
school and it was so hideous, but I didn’t go to a good person. It’s
all who you go to. Our hairdresser Clyde hooked her up.” Why the change
Kim? ” I needed a change at the end of summer, so my hairstylist Clyde
hooked it all up and I’m so excited.” These two are giving mad props to
Clyde. Kourtney also talked about her new show Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami,
“I think it’s crazier, crazier version [than Keeping Up With The
Kardashians], cause it’s just Khloe and I, no parents to tell us what
to do, we’re in an new city going crazy.” And what about the two little
sisters? Kendall is “super excited” about her modeling contract, and
Kylie “kind of” wants to be an actress, but “I was thinking about it,
but I’m not sure, so I want to wait till I’m older.” Thank you
Kardashian family! Other fun stuff we learned: iCarly‘s Jennette McCurdy
is a huge Twitter fan. “I am a twitterer. But the problem is Twitter
had a crash so I can’t tweet from my phone.” Sadness. Hottie Josh Hutcherson is in a new vampire movie Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant. Which celebrity would he bite? “Angelina Jolie, but I think she’s kinda into that. I think Vanessa Hudgens, maybe. But I don’t want to get on Zac’s bad side.” Hannah Montana‘s Emily Osment
“would totally take Miley down” in any kind of fighting match. And if
Make It Or Break It’s Ayla Kell could be a Disney princess, she’d be
Cinderella. “I could clean, and I love to do it, and I always dreamed
of being princess when I was a little kid, so she’s my blonde princess.”Some baller folks hit up the pressroom after their wins. Zac Efron,
who won for Choice Movie Actor Comedy, said he was just thrilled to be
part of such a funny group of nominees. Did you know that Zac Efron is
not as hot in person? Upsetting, I know. Ed Westwick also showed up. His film idols? James Dean and Marlon Brando. He looks like Marlon. He kept saying darling. It was hot.Overall,
the Teen Choice Awards were pretty baller. Make sure to check out all
