Yesterday the Jolie-Pitt crew was spotted out in New Orleans en route to VertiMarte Deli after arriving to visit papa Pitt on Friday. The kids-Maddox, 9, Pax, 7, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 4, Knox, 2, and Vivienne, 2- stocked up on juice and chips, but steered clear of soda (kids and cavities don’t mix). A source at the deli told PEOPLE, “They like to get the whole family out and walk around on a pretty day like today.”
Pitt is in town filming Cogan’s Trade and keeps the deli’s menu handy (his favorite is the shrimp po-boy sandwich). Earlier in the week he took a break from filming at the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel and ordered a triple-decker club sandwich for lunch. He’s been very friendly with everyone in the area, even letting the paparazzi get a few pictures as he was leaving through a back-service entrance. One hotel employee commented that Pitt was “a pretty cool cat.”

While Pitt will remain in town for the next few weeks to film, Jolie and the kids headed back to Los Angeles Friday night.
