I’ll start things off by saying Thank God Elijah’s back. If every episode of The Vampire Diaries since the winter premiere’s been a (slightly slugging) build-up to what’s next, then it’s been worth it. Elena came clean to Stefan about her kiss with Damon, which hurt a lot more than wooden bullets to the chest.
Bonnie’s interaction with her mother was frustrating, to say the least. We were so pissed on her behalf, that it was hard to tell if Alice really wants to help her out or just wants her magic back. One thing’s for sure, the dead witches aren’t going to let this one slide if she’s a traitor. Also, Alice’s story is a little weak. She enjoyed starting over after her powers were washed away? For someone who was eager to begin anew, Alice is sure psyched about the possibility of rewitching. I smell a rat.
Well, we found out Dr. Meredith Fell’s secret, and we’re ok with it, so long as she doesn’t hurt Damon anymore. One question remains: Did she kill her ex-boyfriend, the medical examiner? He was staked in the manner of a vampire, but this is an actual homicidie. Whodunit?
What a dumb ass Caroline’s father is. He knew very well that those chains weren’t enough to hold Tyler back once he transitioned, so why risk it? Idiot.
So…how long is Stefan going to remain cold? He did thaw out a bit towards the end of the episode.
What did you think?
