Those of us with brains knew that putting Britney Spears on The X-Factor was a bad idea. She takes up half the space on my iPod, but even I know that the girl is a hot mess. On live tv, no less.
Britain’s Daily Star (via Entertainmentwise) claims that “Simon [Cowell] had hoped Britney would be a ratings boost but that simply hasn’t happened. It’s no coincidence she is not in talks about a new deal.”
While Demi Lovato is said to be negotiating her contract for another season, word is that Spears hasn’t even started talks.
A source recently told Radar Online that Spears, who was seen at Starbucks in LA Saturday with her two sons, should expect a salary cut.
“Britney, who was signed on a one-year deal, is the first person who will be expected to have her salary chopped. She is on a $15 million contract, which is absurd given that there’s been no huge surge in the ratings.”
What say you on this matter? Should Spears even bother returning for another season?
I think britney should focus on her new album and that’s it , one year is enough for her , xfactor doesn’t deserve her , that show is a hot mess even without her ,no matter who they bring next or do, it will remain like that , they should not put the blame on britney all the time , simon should blame himself first before doing such thing ,
