The couple are planning to throw a £750,000 American-themed party to mark their move to Los Angeles later this year. Well no one has ever said that the Beckham’s were subtle.
A source told the People newspaper that they were plan to outdo their Full Length and Fabulous Pre-World Cup party from last year: “They spent £500,000 last year and this year’s bash will be even bigger. It is called The America Party and organisers are busy planning.”
“David and Victoria are both really excited about relocating and want to make sure they have a good send off.”
“Themed tables will each represent one of the 50 states, food will be American themed – even the waitresses will be dressed in American diner-style uniforms like something out of Grease.”
“It’s going to be really tacky and all very tongue-in-cheek – which totally sums up Victoria’s sense of humour.”

so nice to know that in this unstable world there is one thing one can always rely on – that Victoria Beckham will always look like a cartoon-like hooker, no matter how much money she has and no matter how many designer labels she drowns herself in. How bloody fantastic to remember she and her husband are considered to be idols for some million teenagers around the world – who needs Nelson Mandela or Condoleezza Rice when you’ve got a tacky faux-riche couple – one who doesn’t have a career besides shopping and popping out one ridiculously-named child after another, and the other a footballer who couldn’t even pass any of the UK’s basic academic exams and whose grasp of basic english grammar is worse than that of a 6 year old. Things are looking up for the future generation, right?
