The “D” in Depp Stands For “Diva”

Extremely talented actor/wackjob Johnny was apparently in a snit over Vince Vaughn renting the house he wanted. So he decided he needed compensation through studio-financed harem creation to assuage his ego. The Mirror has the story.

Some Hollywood stars are known for their outrageous diva demands, but who would have ever thought that Johnny Depp would be joining that list?

The Oscar nominated actor has reportedly demanded for his trailer on the set of his new movie ‘Sweeney Todd’ to be decorated with Moroccan drapes, dozens of candles and hubbly-bubbly pipes to the tune of $50 000!

Johnny has also demanded the biggest trailer, after discovering fellow thespian Vince Vaughn – who is also shooting at Pinewood Studios – is renting the London home he had planned to stay in.

The source added: “Johnny was upset that Vince is renting the house in South West London that he wanted. So to make him feel better, Johnny asked that his trailer is bigger than Vince’s which is only a few yards away. We’ve given him the biggest one to make him happy.”

I thought Johnny Depp was more of an eccentric artist type. You know, he comes to town with his rucksack full of acting miracles, tells a few stories about shooting street signs with Hunter S. Thompson and his time on 21 Jump St., and then rides off into the sunset having left us with another indelible character in American cinema. It’s a letdown knowing he needs to enter into a dick-measuring contest with the guy from Dodgeball.

The funniest thing about this story is that they call Vince Vaughn a thespian!

    J. Harvey:

Your writing style makes me wanna touch myself…a lot…deep in the dark of night…and I’m a straight female. That’s impressive.

Seriously though, I’m glad you’re writing columns here. You and Lisa both rock.

    Kudos.

Johnny would never, ever do that.

If you knew him, that would be more obvious.
