The Heiress to Paris Hilton’s Cell Phone Number

July 9th, 2007 // 1 Comment

A student at the University of California in Los Angeles acquired Paris Hilton’s old cell phone number five months ago and is still fielding messages for the notorious celebutante. Shira Barlow revealed to the L.A. Times that she gets a lot of text messages and phone calls for “The Simple Life” star mostly between the wee hours of two and four in the morning. Initially, the subject matter usually involved asking for advice on finding the best L.A. hot spots. However, when the heiress was staring down jail time in the face, the calls and texts soon turned to more serious fare.

“People were scared for her,” the UCLA student told the newspaper.

Barlow said that even though she hasn’t given in to the urge do a Paris Hilton impersonation in the hopes of getting in on VIP lists all over town, she thinks that she’ll hold on to the number, which she says has been more fun than anything else. This proves to me that there is some kind of entity controlling the balance between good and evil, because otherwise, that phone number would be in my horribly irresponsible hands.
