Teensy fashionista bag-ladies, as I like to call them, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen are doing the rounds to promote their interview book Influence. The little women were just on Oprah talking about the candid interviews they had with their idols, who include Diane Von Furstenberg, Karl Lagerfeld and Terry Richardson.

I have to say that this Oprah interview really was a great opportunity to remember that these two 22-year-olds have been working since they were 9 months old. That’s an even earlier start than Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and Drew Barrymore had.

Here they are at a book signing for their newly-published tome. I know I’m totally kind of gushing here, but this NY Times article about the girls reminds me that they don’t exactly fit the mold of “the sisterhood of young women famous only for their professional apathy.”

Gee, whoever could they be talking about? Perhaps any young member of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Panties.
