As expected, Twilight took home more than its fair share of the 2010 People’s Choice Awards. Threesome, Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart snagged the prize for favorite on-screen team, favorite franchise (definitely Summit Entertainment’s favorite) and favorite movie. Additionally, well-paid teenage actor, Lautner, was awarded with breakout movie actor.

Quentin Tarantino‘s Inglourious Basterds was awarded favorite independent film, while Sandra Bullock snagged favorite movie actress award. In addition, her romantic comedy with Ryan Reynolds, The Proposal earned the title of favorite movie comedy. As for the male movie actor title, that honor went to Johnny Depp, who also was recognized as the favorite movie actor of the decade.

In television awards, The Big Bang Theory and House were favorites in comedy and drama with Hugh Laurie and Katherine Heigl favorites in TV dramas. People really like their dramatic doctor shows. Alyson Hannigan and Steve Carell won for the comedy side of things.
