‘The Prisoner’ To Hold Audiences Captive For 3 Nights

Cable networks are certainly raising the bar on original programming, with AMC set to premiere a remake of the 1967 television series, The Prisoner. This new version will premiere November 15, with a splashy, three-night TV event.

A familiar face in the six-part series is that of The Twilight Saga: New Moon star, Jamie Campbell Bower, who stars alongside Ian McKellen and James Caviezel. Caviziel stars as a government agent by the name of Six, who is kidnapped. He comes to on an island known as “The Village,” the leader of which is played by McKellen.
