This was a really epic/rad morning for yours truly, with Journey performing in Rockefeller Center on the Today show and Tiffany and Debbie Gibson in Central Park for Good Morning America. It was as if my childhood stopped by for a wine cooler poured into a neon blue/pink/yellow mug, then popped in a cassette for an impromptu jam session. Now if we can just get Jem and She-Ra in the same room…
Tiffany and Gibson are touring together this summer. I know. Now we don’t have to keep wishing Gibson would sing “I Think We’re Alone Now,” ’cause Tiffany will be there to do it. And Journey? Even with Steve Perry gone, this new guy kills it onstage. Any way you want it, that’s the way you need it.
Running just as fast as we can, holding on to one another’s hand.

I’ve seen Journey 5 or 6 times. Maybe more. Seeing them twice in October, and doing the meet and greet in Portland, OR. Can’t wait!! Arnel is ok, but I prefer the 2nd Steve, Steve Augeri. I was never into Tiffany or Debbie Gibson, even though I was a kid in the 80s.
