Tim Gunn built his reputation on being a person who was ever-so supportive and tactful. But, child, in his latest book he damn near takes a shit on everybody, including Anna Wintour, Isaac Mizrahi, Padma Lakshmi, Martha Stewart‘s daughter Alexis and his own parents.
On Mizrahi:
“Oh, please, I was so kind to him. I mean, I wouldn’t have the words to describe some of the more abhorrent behavior. He really is a terrible, terrible, terrible person.”
On Alexis Stewart:
“One of the angriest people I’ve ever met. [She] kept cursing under her breath in anticipation of her mother coming — ‘goddamn bitch,’ almost as if she had Tourette’s syndrome.”
It also serves as Gunn’s autobiography, where he describes his mother as ‘a stone’ and his father as a terrible, homophobic tyrant. He discusses his celibacy, a painful breakup, and Bravo’s desire to make Project Runway a wacky, drama-filled competition – of which he had no interest in.
Hope he told the students at this design awards ceremony in DC about how to not be shit-heads…check out the full gallery below!

“Bravo’s desire to make Project Runway a wacky, drama-filled competition – of which he had no interest in.” — Isn’t that was Lifetime has turned it into? I am very disappointed in this season’s Project Runway.
