The Johnnie Walker Dressed to Kilt event that took place at the beginning of this week was the scene. Tinsley Mortimer was reportedly passing by her “social rival” Olivia Palermo when each were passing the other on the stairs when Tinsley decided to give Olivia a not-so-friendly nudge on her way back to the catwalk. The New York Daily News reports:
“She checked her so hard that Olivia fell into the railing,” claims one of two people who told us they witnessed the incident.
Palermo’s rep told us: “The only thing Olivia Palermo is guilty of is being beautiful, smart and a size 2. If there are people in the community that get jealous, then we’re going to pray for them.”
Mrs. Mortimer tells me: “I never came within an arm’s length of her.”
See, this is why I could never be a socialite. If I happened to decide to elbow somebody back within that social circle, my decidedly-not-a-size-two elbow would probably accidentally kill somebody.
