Hearkening back to his “Days of Thunder” days, Tom Cruise graced the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Auto Club 500 at the Auto Club Speedway of Southern California with his son Connor Anthony Kidman Cruise (to the left of Tom). I wonder if being around all the race cars had Tom reminiscing about meeting Nicole Kidman on the set of the stock-car racing film from 1990 with the memorable tagline that read, “You can’t stop the thunder.” I’m sure he must have at least had a moment where he thought affectionately about the moment he decided to ask her to be his contractually-obligated beard wife.
