Tom Cruise Is Arrogant

December 15th, 2008 // 4 Comments

Tom Cruise sat down with Matt Lauer on the Today show this morning for the first time since their infamous interview three years ago. In 2005, Tommy got heated over Lauer asking him questions about Tom’s wacky Scientology views on psychiatry and anti-depressants. Remember when he got his thong twisted and snapped at Lauer that he was “glib?” Well Cruise is doing the promo dance for his Nazi film and admitted he was “arrogant” last time.

“After looking at it, it’s not what I had intended,” he said.
“That’s one of those things that you go, ‘I could have handled that
better.’ I didn’t communicate it the way that I wanted to communicate
it. That’s not who I am. I learned a good lesson,” Cruise said. Yes, and please go see my movie because I’m not crazy! I’m not!

Lauer began the interview by noting that this was not a “rematch” or “Rocky 2” and mentioning that there’s no beef between them and that Cruise even appeared at his roast in October.

But we wanted a rematch! Tom’s crazy is seriously better than his movies. He just imitated Elvis to Leno! You can’t script his nuttery! He’s one step away from sitting in a lawnchair wearing a light-up antennae headband outside of a trailer in Roswel!

Wow, talk about the most transparent apology ever; you’ve kind of lost all of our respect over the past few years Tom and this only makes you appear even more arrogant. If the timing didn’t work out so well with the Valkyrie release I *might* have believed some part of what you said.

I’m still seeing the movie because it looks very interesting, Tom can go f*** himself in a spaceship for all I care.

Since Scientology is theoretically all about empowering people, you would think that all these celebrities who have seen their careers implode because of their ties with scientology (i’m thinking of you tom, and jenna elfman, and all the others) would reconsider their loyalty and realize that scientology is, in fact, not empowering them any more….Time to move on.

This is the funniest thing I’ve read in a LONG time…what a visual!
