Tom Cruise and tired-ass Katie Holmes were mincing down the sidewalk in NYC, looking for homeless people to enslave into Scientology, when a photographer that was following them went ass over teakettle on to the sidewalk.
One of the tenets of Scientology (which actually seems kosher to me) is that you help people when they’re in trouble. Which Tommy does and did. He’s always assisting people who are stalled out on the side of the road, or their boat is sinking, or they need a hernia check (men only, please.)
Of course, this helping is supposed to aid in your reincarnation as a superalien or something so all the Good Samaritan activity is actually still working to one of their madness goals. Every little but helps!
Has anyone ever looked like she wants to go home and collapse out of exhaustion more than Katie Holmes? “Need a nap” is her signature style.

Yep, Katie looks dead on her feet. I reckon it’s turkey baster mating season and Tom is chasing her around the house, into the wee small hours.
Good on old Tommy Boy though for helping that man out. What a life to have to live at his age, waiting around on the street with a camera in the hope of spying a celeb. He looks like he should be at home with his legs up in front of the fire instead. But you got to do what you got to do.

Whenever I cringe about Tom, he ends up doing something nice and I kinda, sorta melt for about 2 seconds. And yep, Katie, needs some sleep, perhaps she’s already preggo?>?>?>?

Other than his whacky religious beliefs, he seems to be a pretty kind person. (I hope that wasn’t offensive to any other posters, note I did not refer to him as an idiot….))
