Both DJ AM and Travis Barker were in a Learjet crash that took place when taking off around midnight last night in Columbia, South Carolina. Both men survived the crash by jumping out of the plane almost immediately after it happened. The other four passengers died.
Travis and DJ AM (Adam Michael Goldstein) were taken to a burn center in Augusta, Georgia. A spokesperson for the hospital said, “Both Travis Barker and Adam Goldstein are in critical but stable condition. Goldstein was airlifted here and Barker was brought by ground transportation. So they arrived separately.”
Travis, who has two children with ex Shanna Moakler, is reportedly burned from the waist down while DJ AM suffered burns to his face. Stay tuned to Socialite Life as more details develop.

This is sooo sad! Another site said the only reason they were even on the lear in the first place is because Travis wanted to get them all back to Cali in time for his assistant to see his daughter being born.
I can’t even imagine how they must be feeling. Someone at the memorial service tonight was handing out papers with a website where you can send get well messages to both of them. I just did; if anyone else wants to, too, it’s http://www.getwelldjam.com.

I live in Augusta, I can’t believe all this is happening 15 minutes away. The wife of one of the victims was delivering their baby when they crashed. How horrible to have the happiest day of your life turned in to the saddest one.
