In an interview with E!, Travis Barker was asked about the lawsuit he has filed as a result of his September plane crash, in which he and DJ AM received severe burns and four people (including his personal assistant) were killed. Barker responded that “if something goes wrong that’s not supposed to go wrong or you fall victim of it, I think you should be compensated.”

“I wouldn’t have been in the state I was in if I wasn’t in the crash,” he said Sunday at the Miss California USA pageant, where he was accompanying his crazy we’re-not-sure-at-this-point-what-they-are-to-each-other Shanna Moakler. “I wouldn’t have third-degree burns all over my body or be prohibited to do certain things. I can’t go swimming. I can’t do some of the things that normal people can do. I didn’t ask for that to happen.”

He should seriously take this opportunity to sue Shanna, too. Just for being a crazy whack-a-doodle who knows where he lives. She’s got something, though. This dude just can’t shake her, and you know he had a moment with God after he narrowly cheated death and that chick is still in his life for a reason.
