There don’t appear to be any prudes on the set of the racy series, True Blood, and HBO has been reaping the rewards of the frequent on-set nudity with some stellar ratings. Last Sunday’s episode nabbed an impressive 5.3 million viewers, increasing the viewership by 20 percent over last week’s 4.5 million.

The show’s star, Anna Paquin, explains to Nylon magazine that she has no problem baring her body on television and quite frankly, can’t see the big deal. “Maybe there are a lot of women who keep their bras on while they have sex…I don’t happen to be one of them. I don’t think the naked body is particularly shocking or interesting.”

Try telling that to 5.3 million viewers.
