The producer of “American Idol” has dispelled rumors that Britney Spears will be a guest judge on the upcoming season. Producer Nigel Lythgoe says that he doesn’t think Britney is “well enough to do anything.” Lythgoe says “Britney, at this moment in time, I don’t think is well enough to do anything. I think she needs looking after. I think she needs to pull herself together.” We thank you, Nigel. Lythgoe added that he would have had Britney on last season when it appeared that she was trying to make a comeback. But not now. He doesn’t want Slim Jim wrappers on the floor of the studio. In actuality, he already has Paula Abdul’s high ass to contend with and doesn’t need a two-fer on that deal.

britney would make a terrible guest judge anyway. she doesnt have the charisma and unique personality it takes to make interesting TV (like paula has). thats why Britney is just a tabloid star while Paula is a real star.

Damn, all hell will break loose, 2 loonies sitting with Randy and Simon? Ryan will have a field day. There will be little “transactions” going under the table, annoying giggles and crazy outbursts. People are not going to watch for the singing that’s for sure

I read an awesome article in http://www.mmanewsdesk.com about Brit (who is repped by William Morris Agency) and her agents arguing about a show they wanted her to do. Recently, William Morris has signed Tito Ortiz (Jenna Jameson’s boyfriend), and several other new celebs, and Brit’s rather jealous about it. Check out the story, it’s really rather fascinating.
