If there is one thing that I love about writing for Socialite Life, it has definitely been the exposure to other websites, and the delicious, and ever satisfying serving of fandom for everything glamorous, and celebrity. 

What better place to express your fandom, than with other impassioned fans?? Hence, the desire, need, the presence of what has become the ‘Twilight Saga’ staple, and a must attend for every ‘Twi-20 Somethings’, ‘Twi-moms’, and ‘Twi-hards’ , the ‘Official Twilight Saga Eclipse Convention’, held this weekend at the Century CIty Plaza, in Los Angeles.

As far as fans go, this was definitely the last man standing crowd, as most of the attendees for Sunday were attending their 3rd day of the convention,  in pursuit of sucking every drop of trivia, and information regarding the upcoming premiere scheduled to take place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, during the LA Film Festival.  There is no confirmed date yet, but the venue has been chosen, so ladies, and gents, (which there were only 2 in a room full of about, 150 ladies), as far as camping out for those tickets, it may be a challenge.  My recommendation? research, prepare, divide, and conquer!

Sunday’s event was attended by 3 of the actors from the film, who were on stage for about an hour each, all answering questions submitted by the audience, as a very personal way to introduce, inform, and say thanks to fans who have so much love for all of the cast.  Booboo Stewart, who plays Seth Clearwater, Justine Wachsberger, who plays Giana, and Tyson Houseman who is ‘Eclipse’s’ Quil Atera.

I love the ‘Twilight Saga’, and was definitely excited to attend, but seriously, even with the minimum of hysteria present, my fandom was kicked up to a whole new level, because man, there are some definite ‘Twi-hards’ out there, and they showed me just how much a novice I am.
