Although Twilight may not have been nominated for any Oscars, the teen romance has Slumdog Millionaire beat for nominations at the upcoming MTV Movie Awards. Fans of the blood-sucking love story voted for categories this year and it’s clear who won the popular vote with Twilight earning seven nominations.
All three of the film’s main stars–Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner– are up for Best Performance Awards and the flick also received a nom for Best Movie. However, Slumdog isn’t far behind with nominations in each of those categories for its stars Freida Pinto and Dev Patel with a total of six to its credit.
Playing host to the 18th annual MTV Movie Awards on May 31 will be Saturday Night Live performer Andy Samberg.

Uh..no offense, but ‘best performance awards’ to kristen and robert? really? their acting abilities sucked in the movie. but i suppose it isn’t their fault seeing as the dialogue and movie itself was so crap.

of course-MTV has sucked for so many years now! pandering to the tweens is their only purpose. oh and twilight sucked-especially that robot stewart.

I just don’t see the appeal of Lautner.
He looks like a caveman.
