Val will re-team with his former ‘Top Gun’ director to play one of Denzel’s fellow FBI agents stepping back in time to stop a terrorist attack on a ferry.
After that, Kilmer joins the cast of ‘Dark Matter’, a Meryl Streep vehicle based on the true story of a Chinese university student who responds violently when his chance at winning a Nobel Prize is destroyed. No word on what role Kilmer will play in the film for director Chen Shi-Zheng.
