The stars of The Vampire Diaries were spotted in Paris, France yesterday. Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder, along with both of their mothers, shopped and grabbed some lunch St-Germain-des-Pres. The group has a bevy of fans in tow during their outing.

As for what will happen next season on the hit TV show, Nina talked about the kiss between Elena and Damon:
“That’s kind of what the whole third season’s going to be about,” she tells us. “It’s going to be about explaining and figuring out why she did that. I can definitely say that it was a very bittersweet, beautiful, short-lived interrupted moment that we’ll have to play with and see why it happened later.”
Plus, with Stefan going to the dark side, things are going to be a whole lot different on The Vampire Diaries.

I think Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder are very much in love. They are both very family oriented and I think taking their moms to Paris with them was a wonderful loving thing to do. From all the pictures of I have seen they are having a fantastic vacation in Paris. Also, I am thrilled for Ian and Nina and am ecstatic that they are finally going public after being together for over a year.
I just think it’s funny that they are a couple after when the show first started and Nina was asked if she was dating either Ian or Wesley she said she would never date a co-star because it could make the working relationship awkward. Let’s hope it doesn’t for the sake of the show :)

well I think it kind of strange why all the sudden come out with it when they went about hidden it 4 so long. Do u think the photo are stage just to calm down the crazy French fans??? Some people say it in there contract that co-stars can not date, IDK just have to wait and see the next interview they do when they ask if there a couple and what both will say…
omg they are both so hot and look great together…nina never said she wouldn’t date her co-star, she just said that it makes thing awkward later on if there was a break-up. But u cant help who u love, also i think they have thought this threw. Whatever the case i am really happy for them, and all of their fans are waiting for them to announce it officially:)
