It’s good to see Vanessa Williams back in action. She scored a hot one. Could she just be doing research for her upcoming show on UPN, South Beach? The show is basically a nighttime soap opera featuring beautiful youngsters.
On the show, the fictional Hotel Soleil, owned by Williams’ character, is a fashion haven for supermodels. As the plots go, “There’s always some model problem and some major underhanded, underworld stuff going on. It all gets sticky.” The stickiest is her relationship with her son, the club manager, played by Lee Thompson Young, who’s trying to take over the business behind Mom’s back.
