Victoria Beckham disembarked from the Eurostar in London today after visiting her husband, David in Paris. Posh, it’s reported, will travel back to Paris for David‘s game on Sunday (February 24th).
David, who now plays for Paris St Germain, may have an easier time of adjusting to life as a footballer in France than his wife will. Half the battle for an athlete’s spouse is getting along with other women, and the Daily Mail (those sh*t stirrers) has just the woman for Victoria to meet.
Helena Seger, 42, is a multimillionaire businesswoman who dates Beckham’s teammate, Zlatan Ibrahimovich, 31. French tabloids call her the “Queen Bee of French WAGS” (which stands for “wives and girlfriends”). Seger is known as the “Victoria Beckham of Paris,” and sources are already gossiping about the inevitable introduction between the two women:
If Posh is to fit in at PSG, she will need to try to befriend Zlatan’s girlfriend and not do anything that will get on her nerves. Helena is a shrewd and powerful woman who is a real force in Paris. She is refined, elegant and classy and comes from a respectable family.
But she is also someone who made her own money and got where she is today through sheer force of ambition. In many ways she is very similar to Victoria. They could end up being good friends. After all, she is one of the few WAGs at PSG who speaks English.
But they are so similar I can also imagine them having a huge falling out. And if Posh gets on Helena’s wrong side, life could be very difficult for her in Paris. She might find herself completely cut off from the other WAGs.
Ibrahimovich, who himself sounds like a real a-hole, described Seger as an “evil super bitch delux” in his 2011 autobiography, I am Zlatan.
