Gossip Girl stars, Blake Lively and Leighton Meester are both huge fans of Victoria Beckham as a designer. And a chance encounter with the Spice Girl has resulted in a very juicy guest appearance on the CW series.
Both Blake and Leighton attended the launch of Victoria’s collection in New York and according to a source who dished to the Daily Mirror, “The trio started chatting and Victoria revealed she was a huge fan of the show. From here, Blake pleaded with her to guest star in an episode and ran the idea past producers.”
As a result, Victoria has been cast in a “very tongue-in-cheek” role. However, the mother of three cited her minimal acting skills as a reason to turn down playing Ed Westwick‘s estranged mother. But we’re sure whatever she ends up doing will be “major.”
