Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham, is heading to American Idol land to fill in as the fourth judge and has opened up about what she hopes to get from the show. Lady Becks says that she hopes to be the nice judge on Idol, possibly in the same vein as her predecessor, Paula Abdul. She even hopes for some nice banter with fellow judge, Simon Cowell.

“I like that fact that’s he’s honest. I think he’s very funny,” she told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show. “He has a very tongue-in-cheek British sense of humor, which I have too. I’m looking forward to a bit of banter. I hope he does give me a little bit of a hard time. I love that. I feed off of that.” Although the two don’t know each other very were, she points out that, “He is the only man in the music industry who turned down the Spice Girls and said we would never work.” Somebody was wrong there!  

And what about being nice like Paula? “I want to be nice to people. I know how it feels to stand there and be judged … I don’t want to shatter anybody’s dream, but at the same time there’s nothing wrong with constructive criticism.” Well Posh, at least most people are now afraid to judge you so openly like that. Ah, who am I kidding; our entire site is based on judging you. And how does she feel about replacing Paula? “I’m a spiritual person and I believe that you get back whet you put out there, and I hope she does something that is bigger and better …. There’s something great for her around the corner, I’m sure.”

Posh hopes to find someone stylist and talented as auditions begin in Denver. I mean, I don’t know if anyone will ever be stylish enough for her, but God knows they’re going to try! I bet someone will even wear this exact outfit.
