After Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel‘s appearance Wednesday (March 30) at Los Angeles’ Mondrian Hotel, the internet was abuzz over how skinny Candice looked.
The young South African, who Victoria’s Secret lists as being almost 5 feet, 10 inches tall, appeared much more voluptuous in past appearances. However, her new body looks somewhat skeletal. At the event, she attributed her thin physique to diet, stress and workouts.

Swanepoel recently landed the cover of Victoria’s Secret 2011 swim catalogue and has become one of the label’s most popular models, ABC News reports.
The 22-year-old model responded to People with the following statement:
“I am healthy and happy. I’m heartened to know how much everyone cares about me, but in this case, everything is normal and good.”
