At last night’s British Fashion Awards, photographer Nick Knight presented a video he made in tribute to the late, great Alexander McQueen.

The video, entitled “To Lee, With Love, Nick” features a group black models wearing McQueen’s iconic designs, set to a song Bjork wrote specifically for the occasion. Knight created the piece before the McQueen retrospective gets underway by the The Costume Institute, saying, “it was important to have the clothes featured one last time on flesh and blood before the museum takes them away.”

Like most of McQueen’s work, the piece is dark, moody and crazy inspiring. Watch it after the jump and be sure to share it with your friends if they loved McQueen!
