I’d like to think of myself as someone at least mildly in the know about gossip. At least that’s what I’ve been telling people. But, I had NO IDEA things were so damn tense on the set of Grey’s Anatomy. Apparently, the heated situation between actors Isaiah Washington (Dr. Preston Burke) and Patrick Dempsey (Dr. Shepherd AKA McDreamy) recently became so out of control, it resulted in physical violence. According to the National Enquirer:
The fight erupted at Prospect Studios in L.A. on Oct. 9 when Isaiah, 43, and Patrick, 40, started arguing about other cast members. The ugly explosion even involved mild-mannered T.R. Knight, who plays sweet-natured Dr. George O’Malley. “It began when Isaiah and Patrick got into a heated discussion over cast members being late for a scene,” disclosed a source. “‘What are we waiting on?’ Isaiah said. “Patrick answered, ‘Not me, I’m always ready.’ “At that point Isaiah said something mean to T.R., and that’s when Patrick told Isaiah, ‘Pick on somebody your own size.’ “Well, that did it. Isaiah became enraged and grabbed Patrick by the throat and shoved him back a few feet. “Dr. McDreamy (Patrick’s nickname) almost landed in McDreamland.” When T.R. demanded that the pair break it up, “Isaiah called him a
‘bitch.’”
Holy…I mean, seriously, WTF? I thought everything was hunky-dory in ShondaLand. This is the kind of behavior I’d expect from those Desperate Housewives hos, but not from my beloved castmembers of Grey’s Anatomy. When it comes to good shows, I prefer my drama on the screen instead of behind the scenes. I’d much rather hear that everybody on “According to Jim” is hooked on meth, running around, trying to cut a bitch, cause really, that would actually make that show somewhat interesting.

If I grabbed any co-worker by the throat – my butt would be fired so fast my head would spin.
Look for Dr Burns hand never to stop shaking as he exits off into the sunset with his mama.

i know this is a gossip blog, but i have to say that this is pure fiction, and check out your source … national enquirer??? come on! both of these actors are professional and grounded family men. i’m sure there are people on the set who do not get along, but i doubt any physical violence is on the set.
