We’re wondering if Dakota Fanning really did cut her hair off, or if she’s just sporting a really convincing wig.  According to Us Magazine, Fanning is currently shooting Now Is Good, a film about a leukemia patient who compiles a list of things she’d like to do before she dies.  Included on the list: losing her virginity (atta girl).

Fanning, 17, was spotted on the London set with co-star Jeremy Irvine yesterday, causing us to silently pray that this pixie look is merely a wig.  We dig the elder fanning’s long blond locks more.
