Can’t get enough of your favorite Kaiser? Well, you’re in luck because Karl Lagerfeld seems to be everywhere these days. Ok, not really, but any good workaholic knows he has to keep himself busy once the fall fashion shows are over.
So what’s our number one pony-tailed man been up to? Well he makes his film debut in the French movie Le Doublure- opening later this month- playing himself in a scene. But if that’s too little of a fix, then check out a showcase of his photographs “Farewell to Daylight” at the Pace/MacGill Gallery during the month of May. They’re pics he took while walking alone in Paris, because you know a workaholic just can’t enjoy the roses when he’s taking a stroll. Here’s one of the photos.
Not bad Karl. This comes right after the cruise collection for Chanel that he’s set to present also in May. And speaking of Chanel, it seems that when Karl is no longer a member of the Overweight club, he ain’t afraid to take a swipe at them. In Hong Kong for Chanel’s couture presentation last week, he had this to say.
“Here, you don’t see big, fat women like you do in other parts of the world. I think Chanel is made for Asian women more than any other label”
So everybody else who thinks they too can look good in one of those Chanel suits. The Kaiser obviously has no hope for you, so just give up. Good going Karl.

I don’t get the obsession with Asian females. They’re too frail and tiny. How did that ever become the standard of beauty?
Didn’t he use to be a “big, fat man?”
