Whitney Houston Would Rather Be Alone Than Unhappy

November 7th, 2007 // 10 Comments

“Hello America! It’s Whitney Houston! I’m back! Remember how good I used to siiiiiiiing? Well, I’m working on my comeback album, so you can fall in love with me all over again, but will you excuse me for one moment, while I kick my ex to the curb?” Whitney Houston is committed to her newfound sobriety and part of keeping on the straight and narrow involves Whitney keeping her distance from her good-timing ex-husband, Bobby Brown, who has been doing all he can to worm his way back into Whitney’s heart. Brown believes that the couple will find their way back into each other’s arms so much so that he has stated:

“Whitney and me will get married again.”

Friends and family of Whitney’s have expressed their concern of a possible reconciliation, taking into account Bobby’s apparent inability to avoid drug and alcohol abuse despite Whitney’s attempts to stay clean, but it seems that Bobby recently dashed all hopes of rekindling their relationship by his own out-of-control behavior.

“He showed up at Whitney’s totally stoned … but here’s the good news: She threw him out!”

She was heard yelling, “Close the door behind you, leave your key!” OK, she did actually yell “Stay away from me!” but I don’t remember that being in a lyric on the My Love is Your Love album.

I was never a fan of hers, but did recognize her talent. So, it makes me very happy to hear that she’s making a true effort to keep herself clean and ditch that LOSER ex of hers.

Ehh, I am over Whitney. She used to be amazing, but her voice is shot and I cannot see her singing anything that would be a hit today. It’s all about Mariah, Mary, and Alicia…those girls can sang!
