Whitney Houston Back On-Stage

December 3rd, 2007 // 10 Comments

Whitney Houston took her rehabbed self to Kuala Lumpur over the weekend at Live and Loud 2007 as part of her plan to get her comeback back on track and even though she’s not necessarily performing like she did in the days of “The Bodyguard,” I thought that the video of her performance (after the jump) sounded like she was at least headed in the right direction. According to witnesses of the show, the high notes remained out of reach for Whitney and her charisma was lacking. These pictures of Whitney at the airport don’t exactly paint the prettiest of pictures, but at least girlfriend’s trying, dammit! Man, she looks all alone–it kind of makes me sad. I wish someone would dispatch Kevin Costner her way to cheer her and me up.

It is better to be with the daughter you gave birth to, than a no good so and so. So go ahead Whitney from one woman to another. Just go
ahead and be your best. You don’t have to be the greatest because God is going to love you any way.
    (Amen)

Awww, she IS trying. And, she sounded pretty good to me. I know Whitney realizes that her voice will never be what it once was, but the important thing is she’s off the sauce. You GO, girl!

What is your darn problem?? I can think of a s**tload of established, so-called popstars that will NEVER be able to perform like this! If Whitney was looking for the easy way out she could done a playback show like so, so many other “singers” do in “live” situations today! A couple more years on a healthy life style and plenty of training and she might even top her former self! Try and compare this to any spice girl or similar and all of a sudden her performance is absolutely excellent!

I feel that if Whitney gets the right people in her corner and start practicing her vocals she will be on top of her game. Unfortunately drugs will strip you of everything before you realize that GOD has a better plan I pray that she gets with the GOD of her understanding and give herself a SECOND CHANCE.
