I am so looking forward to this comeback, so I’m hoping I’m not disappointed. Whitney Houston is set to release her first album in seven years on September 1st of this year.
Why the seven year delay? Despite the obvious, Clive Davis told MTV News back in February, “You wait for the great songs to be written,” he said. “The great hits Whitney has given to the public for so many years — you keep encouraging and setting the bar.” [US Weekly]

Good for her. When she first came on the scene in the 80′s – what an outstanding voice. Then she attached herself to that creep, ruining a wonderful career to take a backseat to his antics. Partially her fault for sure, but hopefully she’s on the road back.
