Why Doesn't MTV Play Music Videos Anymore?

Here’s a question I’ve heard more times than I can count on both hands: why doesn’t MTV play music videos anymore?

I remember tuning into Nelly and Justin Timberlake before getting ready for school in the morning. Now some rerun of Sixteen & Pregnant, Jersey Shore, or another one of their shows is usually playing.
