The first images from the Tim Burton-directed adaptation of the classic children’s story, Alice in Wonderland have emerged and the entire cast is sporting some very vibrant hair and makeup.
Johnny Depp is channeling a slightly less disturbing version of comedian Carrot Top with his bright green contacts, full make-up and bright red hair as the Mad Hatter.
Helena Bonham Carter flaunt an impressive mane of bright red curls and sky-high eyebrows for her role as the Queen of Hearts, while her on-screen sister, the White Queen is a white-haired and skinned Anne Hathaway whose dark red lips, eyebrows and eyes are the only thing keeping her from being a straight albino.
Little Britain comedian Matt Lucas is doing double duty as Tweedledee and Tweedledum, with the help of special effects. It appears CGI has thwarted his goal to remain the only gay in the village of Wonderland.

I am so excited about this movie! It does look like Elijah wood with the photoshop affects added. Or CGI…whatever it’s called. If you look up the pictures that came up earlier without all the effects you can tell it’s Johnny Depp.
