I’ve yet to read any reviews of the HBO film based on the original 70s documentary, but I will be curious to hear if Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange manage to deliver performances that ring authentic in this new Grey Gardens.
The work aside, however, I am enjoying seeing Drew on the red carpet in retro outfits from varying time periods. And also this has served as a very convenient test to figure out just what the status of her relationship with ex-boyfriend Justin Long is. I’m also enjoying this dress Jessica’s wearing here.

drew barrymore is trying to hard – her time is done in lala land and with her doing covergirl for a cheaper rate then rhianna- does she really think shes all that – no one I know thinks shes got the looks to keep going as she is- she was better off quiet.
We watched Grey Gardens last night and my husband & I both thought JL & DB did an amazing job.
