Will Smith Is The Fresh Prince Of Hollywood

July 22nd, 2008 // 3 Comments

Forbes has named actor Will Smith as the best-paid actor in Hollywood from June 1, 2007 through June 1, 2008. Whether or not critics deemed Hancock to have a disappointing plot twist, audiences dutifully flocked to the theater to see the latest from their favorite leading man.

His total income from I Am Legend, The Pursuit of Happyness and his anti-superhero flick made over $80 million dollars. He also set a record for having 8 movies in a row earn over $100 million at the box office. Holy shit that’s a lot of money. I guess all that elbow-rubbing (and whatever other body parts were being rubbed) with Tom Cruise has paid off.

Following Smith in the top five were Johnny Depp, Eddie Murphy, Mike Myers Leonardo DiCaprio.
