Bruce Willis recently dished to Playboy that he wasn’t always so happy-go-lucky about his ex-wife’s relationship with a decidedly younger Ashton Kutcher. But it was some advice from Will Smith that helped him to get past his feelings of jealousy, to help him attain the relationship he now has with Demi, Ashton and their children.
“During some very dark hours he talked to me about it. He said, ‘Dude, you’ve got to do whatever it takes to get the kids and all the spouses or the girlfriend together. You’ve got to show your kids it’s OK.’ It was like a light went on. Ding. So Will, thanks. And thanks for all those good movies you’re making.”
It’s a good thing he did too, because I have a sneaking suspicion that Bruce would have made Scrapple out of poor little Ashton. I imagine Ashton’s dying breath would have been, “Am…I…punk’d?”
