WIll Smith appeared on Oprah Winfrey‘s talkfest to discuss his feelings about Barack Obama being elected the first African-American president of the United States. Smith joked about how he couldn’t have Oprah making him cry because he’s an “action hero” but then launched into a bit where he rolled around on the floor and sobbed and wailed.

Smith’s a slick one. Just when you think he’s gone over to the dark side (Tom Cruise‘s Scientology dungeon), he pulls out that smooth, likeable sweet guy thing and you really want to like him. Just go to your happy place and imagine a world in which he and Jada Pinkett-Smith are a happily married heterosexual couple and they just hang out with Tom Cruise out of pity for an obvious lunatic. Plus, you know Tom has the best vodka made out of the diamonds of the rings of Jupiter in some sort of extraterrestrial goods trade-off.
