Now that the dust has cleared surrounding the post-Much Music Awards fiasco between Black Eyed Peas musician Will.i.am and Perez Hilton, the blogger is claiming that it was the band’s tour manager, Polo Molina, who struck him.
Initially, Hilton posted on his Twitter account that Will.i.am was physically violent during a confrontation, but in later statements revealed that he had been punched in the face by Molina.
Will.i.am’s first response was to post a video blog and now, he’s released a statement about the incident. In it, he says, “I do not condone harassment or violence of any kind,” and adds, “I believe that the truth will speak for itself once the details of the events are fully presented.”
Referring to Hilton’s alleged outburst during his interaction with Will.i.am, the musician says, “Hateful slurs…Racial or gay should not be used as verbal weapons to provoke violence.”
