If anyone knows how to have a meltdown, it’s former Hole frontwoman Courtney Love. And in her recent interview with Elle magazine, on which she’s featured on the cover
The often drug-addled singer says in the interview that her downward spiral enabled Britney Spears to experience her very public nervous breakdowns
that ended with her in the hospital. “I had a long, hard fall. I set
the stage for Britney to crash and burn. I went through it all first.”
It’s not exactly clear if Courtney thinks she should be ashamed or proud of this fact. Needless to say, she’s pretty delusional but always entertaining!
The plastic surgery enthusiast
also denied that she got a gastric lap band to lose weight. “I did go
to see a Hollywood doctor about it. I wasn’t desperate, I just knew I
had to do something,” Courtney claims.
Instead, Love says she shed the weight the old-fashioned way–by not eating. Courtney’s kind of old-school in that sense.

Based on the Carol Channing getup in one of those Elle photos (looks like she borrowed it from her grandmother’s wardrobe)… Love’s breakdown could have preceeded Frances Farmer’s crash and burn. What demographic is she shooting for these days?
yeah, but Britney didn’t MURDER anyone. Courtney’s got that distinction. She should be behind bars. And those pictures look like they’ve had a LOT of work done to them to make her look decent. Justice for Kurt.
