OMFG, it’s finally the X-Files movie! OK, I’m not actually THAT excited, but I’m trying to be for my 1994′s self sake. I actually really used to love the adventures of Scully and Mulder, but like math, once it reached a certain level of complication, I sort of just tuned out.
David Duchovny looks all squinty and large-nosed and I’m totally not against that look per se, I just think I’m not all that attracted to him because Mother Nature knows if the two of us mated, my large-nosedness and tendency to squint would make for some unfortunate-looking children.
Gillian Anderson, who happens to be one of the few female flavors J. Harvey‘s interested in tasting, looks faboo all pregnant and boobtastic. She told Us on the red carpet, “The only thing I do when I’m pregnant is eat and sit on my butt!” Uh oh. I think I might be pregnant…
Also, I’m not sure whether or not I think the X-Files gang waited too long to get the show on the road. They took even longer than the SATC chicks. What do you guys think?

I’m a little too excited for this movie. Loved the series. But when the hell did Gillian Anderson get pregnant? Is this her second or third? And who’s the baby daddy?
Ah, the early 90s was a more innocent time. X-Files was great because we weren’t oversaturated with stars’ personal lives or the lastest and greatest movie technology. Now, technology takes precedence over story quality and, I don’t enjoy going to movies, watching tv, etc. because I know too much about the actors’ personal lives.
The film is low-tech and character driven, just like the X-Files of the 90s.
This is Anderson’s third child and the daddy is her boyfriend Mark Griffiths, a wealthy London businessman. Is that too much information?
I was a little young to get into the X-Files when it first started, but I got really into it around season 4/5 and was a HUGE fan for a few years. I really want to see the movie, but I don’t know if I’m going to see it right away. Definitely in the theater though.
