The rumors have been circulating that Owen Wilson is somehow responsible for the breakup of Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson. I thought that Owen was only a wedding crasher not a marriage crasher. The 38 year-old native of Texas says he is not the reason for the breakup and will do so by filing a lawsuit against anyone who brings up the false allegation.
I don’t think Owen Wilson is the sole reason for the breakup (if he’s part of the equation at all). I’m sure that the 12-year age difference between the couple had something to do with it. Another possibilityis that the rocker and actress parted ways is because of his late night partying. A third possibility is that Chris looks as if he has been hiding in a cabin the mountains for a year and his skin hasn’t seen the sun in years! Too much patchouli for me! Owen, since this is possibly your first brush with negative press, you may be overacting a little by hiring a lawyer. Well, we will see how this one plays out- I foresee another Brad and Angelina type scandal.

I don’t agree with pinning the breakup blame on the age difference in this case, I think it was more a lifestyle thing that doesn’t correspond to age. My husband of nearly 12 years is 16 years older than I am. It simply is not a big deal.
Sure, it can be juicy fodder when celebs hook up but it’s pretty insignificant in most cases (now watch, CZJ and her fossil will announce a split and I’ll have to eat my words ;)
