Zac Efron Disses Celebrity Albums To ‘Nylon Guys’

October 8th, 2009 // Leave a Comment

Soon-to-be 22-year-old Zac Efron posed for a photoshoot and interview with magazine, Nylon Guys. During his chat, the young actor discussed his reaction to seeing his film, Me and Orson Welles, for the first time.

According to Efron, “It’s the first time I’ve ever watched a movie [that I'm in] and in the end I’m like, ‘OK! I didn’t check my watch once!’”

While the tween heartthrob readily admits to having a musical upbringing, claiming that he was “constantly singing” as a child, he doesn’t necessarily think every celebrity needs to cut an album. Efron cautions, “If your heart’s not in it, don’t do it. And don’t do it for money. That’s my philosophy.”

Sage words from a young man…with really good hair.
